Meet the Gnosis
There are few battle cruisers that are as newbie friendly as the Gnosis (Spaceship Command 1). And a fleet of those ships also looks good - what more do you want.
The Gnosis doctrine we will be flying is built upon the now retired (because the FC who flew them left) Spectre Alpha fleets:
An Arty-fit Gnosis not only has good mid-range (70-80) Alpha but also respectable drone damage. The ship is fast, turnes and accelerates well. It is over all just a little better than a cane or ferox.
